Highland Lake Inn, East Andover, New Hampshire
Completeely restored 1767 farmhouse with ten spacious and comfortable guest rooms; two with fireplaces.
Enjoy beautiful New England! The Inn, originally built in 1767, is a classic building set atop 12 acres, and adjoins a 21-acre nature conservancy. Complete with Currier and Ives views, we overlook Highland Lake, Kearsarge, Tucker and Ragged mountains. A secluded beach, fishing, boating, hiking, downhill and cross- country skiing, ice skating, champion ship golf courses, antique and outlet shopping await you while you vacation and relax in our rich rural landscape. Ten glorious guest rooms, each with a private bath, are beautifully decorated with family antiques, four post beds, fine bedding, quilts, down comforters, and fireplaces. A sumptuous full country breakfast is served each morning. We are noted for our gracious hospitality.
Located just 23 miles northwest of Concord, we are easy to reach from Routes 89, 91 and 93. Our local area restaurants satisfy every taste and budget, and range from sophisticated French cuisine to country family fare. Two Shaker Villages are nearby and Summer theaters offer entertainment.
