Gerri and Augie Emanuele, the friendly and attentive innkeepers/proprietors, are responsible for the warm congenial atmosphere at the Inn. This meticulously clean Victorian Inn has been welcoming visitors to Hendersonville for ninety eight years and is on the National Registry of Historical Places. The Inn's architecture is Classical Revival, with a large wrap-around veranda with rocking chairs - a natural place to gather and visit with the innkeepers and other guests. Inside, the library has an extensive collection of fine books. Oriental rugs and wood paneling provide a comfortable setting for a warming glass of sherry in the evening. The large dining room is the perfect place to start your day with a full home-cooked country breakfast and specials all prepared by Gerri. All 15 guest rooms have private bathrooms. Each room is unique, comfortable and delightfully decorated. Some rooms provide decorative fireplaces and televisions. Golf starting times are happily arranged for you by Augie, an avid golfer himself, and if ever a fourth is needed don't hesitate to ask him to join your group. The Claddagh Inn is an excellent pivot point for short drives to witness the breathtaking beauty of Western North Carolina's "Land of the Sky".
