Alpine Haus, Vernon, New Jersey
A 112 year-old Federal Style Inn with Victorian highlights and adjacent Carriage House have recently been renovated as a ten room Bed and Breakfast Inn. The Inn contains eight guestrooms, each with private baths. The Carriage House has two suites, one of which is ADA Compliant. Both suites include fireplace and Jacuzzis. All of our accommodations are centrally air-conditioned. The rooms are beautifully decorated with antiques; most have queen-size beds. Named after wild mountain flowers, each room is accented with complementary décor.
A bountiful country breakfast is served in the dining room or, in the summer, you can enjoy breakfast outside on our second story covered porch. Our formal sitting room with its fireplace and the less formal family room are available for your comfort.
The Alpine Haus Bed & Breakfast is located on Route 94 adjacent to Mountain Creek Ski Resort and Water Park providing skiing and summer water fun as well as other year round activities, such as, mountain biking, gondola rides and hiking, etc. Within close proximity are several golf courses. Close to the Appalachian Trail numerous hikers and bird watchers flock to the area. Antiquing and shopping are available year round.
The Alpine Haus is available for private parties, weddings and meetings. Business travelers are always welcome.
