Listed on The National Register of Historic Places, the Inn has a gracious front porch for relaxing, and a back porch that's a favorite for watching the hummingbirds. Down the hill there's a stocked trout pond by the river. Inside, you'll find a Great Room and Library (complete with homemade cookies!). Mornings begin with fresh-ground coffee and delicious, hearty breakfasts. In the afternoons come home to refreshments and sweets.
There are seven bedrooms on the first two floors with poster beds and furniture true to the home's turn-of-the-century heritage. For larger groups, there's a terrific third floor dormitory with 13 beds, its own bath, TV, table and chairs.
River Run Inn is just minutes from downtown and a multitude of activities, yet offers guests the quiet and beauty of country living. With its charm and spaciousness, the Inn has become a favorite for reunions, group stays, weddings and any other special occasions.
