Inn At Maplewood Farm, Hillsborough, New Hampshire
The Inn at Maplewood Farm was built in 1794 and has enjoyed a colorful history as a farm and lodging establishment. We have restored and refurbished the large farmhouse and offer four guest rooms and suites to the public with the belief that luxury doesn't have to be an expensive commodity.
To date, The Inn has received three national awards for our breakfast fare, proclaimed, "wonderfully inventive," by Yankee Traveler.
The individually decorated rooms combine real antiques and comfortable new furniture, including wrought iron and canopy beds. Each room features lots of books, current magazines, and soft linens. Each room also has a working antique radio on which guests can tune in to "Radio Maplewood Farm," the Inn's own station, playing old time radio shows from the 1920's, '30's and '40's.
Nearby you'll find an old-fashioned swimming hole, lakes, ponds, a trout farm, tennis courts and golf course (all within 5-10 minutes of the Inn) and next door is Fox State Forest, with 1400 acres of nature, hiking, and biking trails. Come October, some of New England's best foliage is just outside our windows.
