Settlers Hill Cottages, Grahamstown, South Africa
These are small historic cottages built 170 years ago by British Settlers in the heart of the heritage area of Grahamstown. They have been carefully restored and furnished with period pieces collected on local auctions over many years. Some have ghosts.....all have pretty & private walled gardens. Within walking distance are restaurants, the Camera Obscura, the Coelecanth museum, a wonderful collection of African Musical instruments, a witchdoctor herbalist, wagon stones, donkey carts, Xhosa ladies cooking "ismile". A Fun place to be, a "must visit " spot in South Africa.
