This pet-friendly inn is located in the spectacular downtown River District. Built in 1906, the 9,000 square foot Prairie Style mansion is one of the few George W. Maher homes still intact. Maher's beautiful tulip and segmented arch motif-rythm theory is repeated in light fixtures, art glass windows, and the amazing drawing room fireplace.
Each of the five guest rooms has a king or queen bed with Stearns and Foster mattress, white cotton linens, and down comforter. The private and spacious attached baths have steam spas. Each room has a TV, DVD player, wireless Internet access, and telephone with data port.
Food service includes wine and cheese every afternoon, fresh cookies and milk delivered to your room at bed time, wake up beverages in the morning and a full gourmet breakfast served at a private table in the formal dining room anytime between 6 and 9:30am.
